1.     Classifiers: Video on Classifier
3.     Demonstrate your understanding of Classifiers by writing 10  sentences in English then Translate to ASL GLOSS using 10 of the 24 Classifiers shown on the web page or in the handout:  TerpTopics  Be prepared to sign Several of your examples.  
Use the following Activity to write your 10 sentences using the sentence in this paper:  What, When, and How to use ASL Classifiers and activity

1.  Work on Classifier Project ( with a partner to make a skit use two sentences from each student -- this will be a rough draft and present rough draft after 20 mins of collaboration two groups will present)

1.    Practice  ASL University Lesson 3 -- Student pairs Demonstrate your ability to sign and answer questions from the ASL University Lesson 3 Vocabulary
(Teacher watching for during your practice and presentations:  Visual feedback, turn-taking, eye contact, a demo of understanding)    

2.     Finish the day with: Read Short article on Deaf Culture about Martha's Vineyard and complete the Questions about Martha's Vineyard.  Due at the end of the hour. (Significant Events--Why Important and Valued)
