Monday

1.    Practice  ASL University Lesson 3 -- Student pairs Demonstrate your ability to sign and answer questions from the ASL University Lesson 3 Vocabulary
(Teacher watching for during your practice and presentations:  Visual feedback, turn-taking, eye contact, a demo of understanding)    

2.     Finish the day with: Read Short article on Deaf Culture about Martha's Vineyard and complete the Questions about Martha's Vineyard.  Due at the end of the hour. (Significant Events--Why Important and Valued)
3. Homework: Video:  Martha's Vineyard -- Learn about the history of deafness on Martha's Vineyard...

Tuesday

1.     Pass out New ASL University Lesson #4 --Introduce the new vocabulary 
                        ASL University Lesson #4

2.     Go over Lesson with students Practice Vocabulay for ASLU 4

3.  Vocabulary: Practice Vocabulary for ASLU 4 computers and Practice using YouTube ASL University Lesson 4

     4.  Homework listen to the experience of a Deaf playwright write a summary of what you learn from the recording: NPR Recording Martha's Vineyard History and Experience

Wednesday

1.  Video of the day Maximizing Language Acquisition: ASL and Spoken English 27 minutes show 15 min

2.     Reading and Questions about KODA organization and then answer questions and make a Poster showing key points about KODA...

3.  Practice Vocabulary for ASLU 4

4.  Homework: Watch the video and write about issues related to having Deaf parents (Write from the Deaf parents point of View) Video my Deaf Parents

Thursday

1.        Two and three Letter sequences Repeat for 5 minutes set a timer (short practice)

      1a. Fingerspelling Video 50 words 
                           

2.        Extra practice:  Fingerspelling Book Practice two and three-letter words (green)
                2a.  Finger Spelling practice "ab"-"ar" 
                              or 
                2b. MASL Practice Activity 
Fingerspelling practice on activities 5-6-7 and read the bottom of page 3. 

3.  Game:   Telephone Sign Game Sentences Lesson 1-2-3-4.
